Starting Monday, April 1, 2019, Platteville Public Library will be undergoing renovations. We will only be open with limited services on Mondays through Fridays from 4:00 to 6:00 during construction. We hope to be back to our regular services on or by May 6, but, because the renovation is fairly extensive, the return date is tentative.
The Monday and Wednesday story-times in Platteville will move to Pioneer Museum next door starting Wed, April 3 and will be from 10:30-11:30. The Tuesday "Come Read with Me" story-times will move to Platteville Town Hall.
If you need additional library services, we encourage you to visit other libraries in the High Plains LIbrary District. Nantes Library in Gilcrest, Carbon Valley Regional LIbrary in Firestone, Ft. Lupton School and Public Library in Ft. Lupton, and Glenn A. Jones Memorial Library in Johnstown are the nearest libraries to PPL. All are staffed with friendly, knowledgeable people. In fact, you'll probably see Platteville Library staff at Nantes more frequently through April. (Nantes will be increasing their hours to serve the patrons of the Platteville-Gilcrest area.)
